Meet the Frame Leadership Team
Frame is led by mortgage veterans and real estate entrepreneurs who understand both sides of the homebuying equation—financing and construction.

Brett Burns brings over two decades of mortgage industry experience, with a proven track record of leadership, innovation, and client-focused service. Throughout his career, he has successfully funded thousands of home loans and helped build high-performing teams known for delivering exceptional results.
As CEO and President of Frame Home Loans, Brett is focused on creating a modern mortgage experience—streamlined, transparent, and tailored to today’s homebuyers. His deep industry knowledge and strategic vision continue to drive growth while keeping client needs at the center of every decision.

Robert Trent brings decades of homebuilding and entrepreneurial experience to Frame Home Loans, combining a builder’s mindset with a passion for delivering smarter solutions to today’s homebuyers.
In 2007, during one of the most challenging moments in housing market history, Robert founded SDC Homes and rapidly grew it into one of the top three homebuilders in Washington State. Recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies, SDC’s success was driven by Robert’s relentless focus on innovation, operational efficiency, and customer value.
In 2011, his company was acquired by a top-10 national builder, marking a successful exit and further solidifying his reputation as one of the region’s most accomplished real estate entrepreneurs.
As a founder of Frame Home Loans, Robert brings the same builder-first philosophy to mortgage lending—helping ensure that buyers of new construction have access to the kind of financing that works with, not against, their homebuying journey. His experience building homes—and building companies—continues to shape Frame’s strategy and impact.

Curt Altig founded Frame Home Loans with a clear mission: to bring smarter, more builder-aligned lending solutions to homebuyers purchasing new construction.
With more than 20 years of executive experience at leading mortgage banks, Curt launched Builders Capital in 2009 and quickly turned it into one of the nation’s largest private construction lenders. Frame Home Loans is a natural extension of that success—created to bridge the gap between homebuilders and homebuyers by offering tailored financing options that make new construction more accessible, more affordable, and more competitive in today’s market.
Curt leads with a passion for innovation and a commitment to building teams that help others thrive. His vision for Frame includes creating tools and programs that accelerate home sales, reduce buyer friction, and give builders and their customers an edge.
A graduate of the University of Washington, Curt also serves on the board of the Liberty Road Foundation and remains deeply engaged in both professional and philanthropic leadership.

Robert Hadley brings a rare combination of technical expertise, generational real estate experience, and strategic foresight to his role as Founder of Frame Home Loans.
A founding investor in Builders Capital, Robert has played a key role in shaping the company’s long-term growth and success. He brings the same vision and leadership to Frame, where he helps guide strategic direction and ensure the company remains focused on delivering financing solutions that align with the unique needs of builders and new construction homebuyers.
Robert is also the President of Hadley Properties, LLC—a third-generation development firm known for its innovation across residential, resort, office, hospitality, and industrial real estate. With degrees in civil engineering and quantitative economics from Stanford University, he offers a data-driven, builder-centric perspective that informs Frame’s mission to create smarter pathways to homeownership.
